Jeremiah Lee Cothren is an architect turned visual journalist and producer whose primary focus captures vivid histories of human rights, social justice and migration. A graduate of the University of California, Berkeley and the International Center of Photography’s Masterclass in Visual Storytelling, his work and studies have carried him throughout North America, Europe, Africa and the Middle East. He was recently the assistant for Tomas Van Houtryve’s work ‘Lines and Lineage’.

Jeremiah’s previous work has been featured on platforms such as PBS and NPR’s Latino USA. While his visual language blends various forms of photography and video, his approach to storytelling warrants a deeper commitment to developing counter narratives.

He is currently based in New York City working on his upcoming podcast, Unarmed + Unplugged.
